Catalyst Circles Coaching

Kayleigh and I (and previously Aaron Hirtenstein too) have been supporting the Catalyst network with embedding Sociocratic processes and principles into the way their three Initiative Leads circles are operating since October 2022 and through until September.

Catalyst are piloting whether Sociocratic circles and collaborative decision making for funding budgets is a viable way to share equity, increase collaboration across projects that are funded by Catalyst and if more impact from the investment is delivered.

Its been a fun ride as the circles had been operating for a while with a very mixed level of understanding, buy-in and confidence in the consent based decision making process.

Currently Catalyst is undergoing a strategic review and so our main focus at the moment is supporting the Steering Group and Core Producer team from Catalyst to engage, inform and support the Initiative Leads through the changing strategy.

It is messy. complex and there is loads to do, just the way I like it.
